There are plenty of expert-level escape rooms in Los Angeles, with a wide variety of themes. These rooms are designed for the most daring and clever minds and offer complex puzzles, intricate storylines, and an immersive environment that will challenge your problem-solving skills and teamwork abilities to the max.

1. Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle

If you love exciting action sequences and interactive, technical puzzles, Jumanji is perfect for you.

This 60-minute room accommodates 4-8 people, making it absolutely perfect for large groups looking for a challenge. The high-tech puzzles and immersive theme both play into its claim as one of the hardest escape rooms in Los Angeles.

2. Wizards Workshop

To sprinkle a little bit of magic into your escape room experience, try Wizards Workshop.

You’ll use a team of 2–6 people to find your wizard teacher within 60 minutes. As one of the most difficult escape rooms in Los Angeles, this room has a serious amount of physical activity and requires that you utilize all of the knowledge at your fingertips.

3. Grandma’s Masterplan

Grandmas are supposed to be cute, sweet, and naïve — at least, that’s what you’re supposed to think.

Grab a team of 3–7 people and dive right into Grandma’s Masterplan, to uncover a secret about her inheritance. Although this room is difficult enough to have a 75-minute time limit, kids as young as 10 can play.

4. Da Vinci’s Secret

Are you brilliant enough to solve Da Vinci’s Secret?

In this room, your team of 2–6 people can try to match Da Vinci’s world-renowned wit in 75 minutes. By solving all of the puzzles, you'll master this tricky escape room — and prove yourself worthy of Da Vinci!.

5. Ghost Ship

With Ghost Ship, you’ll be both challenged and spooked.

Get the whole crew together to break the spell cast upon shipmates many years ago. You can bring 2–6 players, and have 60 minutes to figure out how to break the long-standing curse.

6. Galaxy Quest

Those with a flair for the fantastic will love the spacefaring Galaxy Quest.

Bring the whole family for a 60-minute romp through space. In this escape room, your crew of 2-6 people will be retrieving an extremely important space weapon.

7. Dracula

Match wits against a well-known mythological figure in Dracula.

Can you outsmart a deadly vampire? With a 2–6 person team, you’ll have 60 minutes to find and kill Dracula before sunset falls and it’s too late.

8. Red Alert

With nuclear destruction on the horizon, Red Alert lets you save the world.

Gather 2–6 people to solve this difficult room. Try to thwart a dictator’s last-ditch effort by disarming a nuclear missile sequence before it goes off in 60 minutes!
