the proof is in the pudding

We got to do both Dr. Psycho and Big Brain. Our group of 4 could not decide which we liked better. They were both so different.

Dr. Psycho had some jump scares, nothing too spicy though, and the room was done really well to give that creepy vibe while having great challenges.

Big Brain was super fun and so bright after Dr. Psycho. The challenges were all different and made the experience pop.

Our game master Alex was so helpful and even got us set up for a second room that day, which we had no planned on, but are definitely glad we did! We definitely recommend checking them out.

This is the best 60Out location in LA!! Their two newest games are very fun and wildly creative. “Wizards treasure” feels like you’re in Disneyland with all the art and scenic design in there and “Big Brain Labs” is huge and has hands on puzzles and a great aesthetic. One of the staff told me that Big Brain Labs has an adjustable difficult which is was great because my friends and I had a fun and challenging time but when I come back with younger kids I’ll just ask for an easier level. Wizards Treasure was VERY fun for me and my friends and I would say it is appropriate for a family as is.

The staff were kind and I even got to meet the game designer for both the games I mentioned above! He was great and you could tell how excited and passionate he was about the games. This is a must visit for any LA escape room enthusiasts!

I cannot recommend Wizard’s Treasure and Big Brain Labs enough at this 60out location!! I do not typically like escape rooms. There’s nothing worse than feeling dumb with a simple puzzle, but both these rooms felt more like cooperative puzzle games with super fun interactive mechanics. The design is so immersive and whimsical I wish I could have played them longer. RUN don’t walk to play Wizard’s Treasure and Big Brain Labs!!

The moment we entered the store front, there was such a calming and pleasant atmosphere. Our game master, Alex, was so friendly and welcoming and she was paying attention to us the whole time. The actual escape room was very fun and challenging with very creative storytelling and visuals. It was kid-friendly and children ranging in age will enjoy it. We did the big brain escape room and it was a one of a kind plot line.

I’ve been to this location on many occasions, and it’s been so fun every time! I played their new game (Big Brain Labs) with my family last month, and it was a hit. They don’t play a lot of escape rooms, but they had a blast! I’d also highly recommend Wizard’s Treasure for people new to escape rooms and those that have played hundreds. I’ve played it 3 times because I just want to keep bringing people that come to visit LA. There’s so much charm and whimsy in both. I haven’t played their other games yet, but I’m looking forward to coming back soon!

Big Brain Labs!!! Wizards Treasure!!! I'm obsessed with these games! They are family friendly, fun adventures that had me excited and smiling the whole time. They aren't the hardest escape rooms you'll ever play, but they are challenging enough. They really shine in FUN, creativity and storytelling. Did I mention FUN!?!?! Beautiful set design too. Oh and fun. I'm a kid at heart and I genuinely believe kids would have a blast hanging out with parents, grandparents, aunts or uncles, etc while making memories together in these games.
