1. Where Should I Start?

Before you even get your family together and start working out availability, there are a few important things you should know. Understanding the scheduling guidelines beforehand can help you have the best experience in scheduling (even if your plans have to change a little along the way).

When Should I Make My Arrangements?

You can reserve your escape room multiple months in advance.

When you book escape rooms far into the future, it gives you more options. You’ll also have more time to work out issues if something does come up. On the other hand, some escape rooms may have same-day bookings available! Check on the room you’re interested in.

What If I Have to Cancel?

If something changes and you have to cancel, give us a call as soon as possible. 60OUT has a 24-hour cancellation policy; if you cancel more than 24 hours before your scheduled time, you’ll get a full refund.

Reservations canceled less than 24 hours prior will be charged a $60 fee. If you decide to add more people to your group, or you want to change the reservation time, just give us a call. We’ll see what we can do to make sure that you get everyone in on the action, at a time that works for you.

Who Can Be Part of My Group?

Rooms have different age limits, physical activity requirements, and themes. You should consider how these requirements apply to your group!

Generally, teenagers and children are welcome as long as there’s a chaperone. Just check the room you’re interested in to make sure it will be suitable for your children. Most rooms don’t require climbing or physical activity, but if there are activity requirements, it will be noted on the room page.

2. Where Can I Book a Room?

We book our rooms directly — no need to go through third-party sources. You can book online or by phone.

Online bookings are simple, secure, and easy. If you’re looking for something that’s not listed on the site, like special arrangements or reservations for a large group, you can book by phone or email.

3. Is It Better to Reserve My Escape Room in Advance?

In general, it’s a good idea to book your escape room well in advance. That gives you more options for time slots, plus time to change your booking if you run into unexpected problems.

In addition, if you book your room more than seven days in advance, you’ll save $10 on your overall booking.

By booking your room a day or two in advance, or trying for a same-day booking, adds a feeling of spontaneity to your experience. If some extended family members came into town on short notice, or you have a date tonight and no idea what to do, we may have openings. It's worthwhile to check!.

However, the building excitement of a reservation on the horizon can be even more fun than spontaneously deciding to go! It’s also easier to get reservations to the most popular escape rooms in Los Angeles at high-traffic times.

If you can, it’s better to reserve your booking in advance, so that there is an established date and time for you and your loved ones.

4. How Do I Make My Booking?

Once you’ve determined how many people are coming, what room you want to play, and when you want to play it, it’s time to make your reservation.

It’s easy to reserve escape room appointments with 60OUT! On the Schedule tab, put in the number of players coming with you and select a date. You can also narrow the options by location, time period, and genre if you’re not quite settled on a room.

Once you choose your escape room, click your preferred booking time. Fill in your contact and payment information so you can finalize your booking.
